All problems can be solved in an elegant way, even if they look ugly at a glance.
I'm Patryk, a product designer from Poznań. For over 12 years I have designed for Egnyte, Allegro and now Miro, where I work on analytics, and on content security and compliance in the age of AI. Alongside, I designed for Espago and now lead design at CoNaDzielni.pl.
I studied computer science in Poznań and Madrid, and I still code my own prototypes.

What I believe
Explain it to a 5-year-old
If I can't explain a problem in plain words, I don't understand it well enough yet. That is my test before I design anything.
Clean UI with a spark
Calm, quiet screens do most of the work. One small moment of delight, a transition or a detail, is what people remember.
Sometimes no UI is best
A smart default, an automation or one well-placed setting can remove a whole screen. Less to learn beats a nicer screen.
Be bold enough not to build it
Every feature costs maintenance, support and attention. Saying no, with evidence behind it, can be the most valuable design decision on a roadmap.
AI brings even chances for everyone
AI and vibe coding let anyone test an idea in hours, not sprints. Good ideas win on evidence. The best time ever to be a product designer.
How I work
The loop I follow on big projects: learn first, build something that works, test it, ship it, and go again.
Discover
Understand the gaps and learn before proposing anything. Discovery is the homework good design starts from.
Prototype
A working app on real data that people can click through. Figma for detailed UI.
Validate
Test it with users fast, and run workshops to keep stakeholders aligned.
Merge
Once it proves right, it gets merged into the product.
Repeat
Back to discovery, with what the last release taught us.
01
Prototype it, prove it, merge it
After discovery I build a working prototype app on real data, validate it fast, and merge it when it proves right.
